Overview

AXA HUMA is a mobile engagement app backed by an Admin Portal. It covers recognition, rewards, events and ongoing engagement programmes, and it is built so HR and operations can run them at scale.

As the UI/UX designer, I delivered the UI and CMS prototypes and an end-to-end user journey that kept product, engineering and operations aligned.

Problem

The risk was a feature dump. Employees needed one coherent experience. HR and operations needed dependable identity management, governance and control over staff lists, statuses and eligibility.

Approach

I turned the requirements into shared artefacts — UI and CMS prototypes and a user-journey PDF — to act as the single source of truth.

The Admin Portal came first, as the operational backbone. I documented the UAT environments, login assumptions and core workflows, such as searching accounts and updating departments, statuses and staff lists, so the programme could run without waiting on design.

Day to day I worked from Jira and owned backlog items for reward redemption, event waitlists, leaderboard UX, coupon transfer and donation flows, plus release-ready assets: screenshots, mockups and user-guide material.

Solution

Employees got one consistent app. Admins got clear ways to keep user records and eligibility accurate. A shared design system made later enhancements and guide assets more consistent and quicker to ship.

Lessons

Engagement products only work when operations work. The time spent on admin workflows, documentation and edge cases made the product more reliable and lowered downstream risk.
