Overview
Easter Event 2026, themed Egg-Speriment Lab, was a park-wide seasonal experience that turned Easter into an interactive, family-friendly STEAM journey. It ran across several venues and combined physical activations with digital touchpoints: two physics-inspired mini-games, an AI photo booth, and an iPad egg-drawing experience where children created custom eggs and watched them become animated 3D characters.
Problem
The challenge went beyond a festive campaign. Several interactive systems had to work as one experience for children and families. It needed to feel playful and intuitive for kids of about 6 to 12, and still hold up in a real event: hardware, queues, printing, QR retrieval, and handoffs between iPad creation flows, desktop displays, cameras and on-site installations.
Approach
I turned a broad event concept into digital journeys that work under physical constraints. I treated it as a service ecosystem instead of a set of separate screens: how guests move from attraction to attraction, how to simplify each interaction for first-time users, and lightweight flows for creating, capturing, confirming, loading, retrieving and displaying.
For the egg drawing, that meant a guided iPad interface with approachable tools and an “incubation” moment that carried the magic onto a larger shared screen. For the AI photo booth, it meant a compact journey from theme selection to camera capture, AI conversion, QR retrieval and print intent, quick and legible in a public space.
Solution
Digital interaction became the emotional core of the event. Games, drawing and photo generation were shaped into one narrative system under the Egg-Speriment Lab theme: children created, launched and “hatched” eggs, visitors generated themed AI portraits, and physical and digital installations reinforced the same playful lab-world identity.
The result was a more immersive, contemporary Easter that felt accessible to families and distinctive in a public setting.

Lessons
Good UX is more than screens. It is choreographing behaviour across space, hardware and emotion. This project pushed me past interface polish and towards flow design, operational realism and a coherent story, and towards aligning several experience tracks into one playful, production-aware whole.
